The Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine is a regulatory body responsible for protecting the public interest and confidence by ensuring that allied health professionals meet an esteemed level of competence and ethics by enforcing meticulous licensing standards which are set and governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Our Board ensures that we operate in accordance with our mandate and act.

Examining the eligibility of applicants for registration
Registering persons seeking employment within the relevant professions
Monitoring professional conduct and standards of patient care delivery
Investigating complaints of illegal/ unethical practices related to the professions
In accordance with the Professions Supplementary to Medicine Act (1965) and regulations thereto.
